  Hyderabad is a place of many historical monuments. Other than Charminar and Golconda, also there are a few places which everyone needs to visit. Among those places, here is one more, The Spanish Mosque.  Jam-e-Masjid is located on the roads of Begumpet. The masjid is very famous for its architecture and is also known as the Spanish Mosque. The masjid holds a curve-shaped architecture with a star on the top and looks beautiful in mint green color. Also, the minarets add more attraction to the mosque.  The Mosque was built by the Nizam’s third maternal grandson, Nawab Viqar-ul-Umra Iqbal-ud-Doula. Among Nizam’s contributions to Hyderabad, Spanish Mosque is also one of them.  Why Spanish Mosque Famous? Spanish Mosque sets the example of Moorish architecture which is similar to Islamic architecture.
